About Freedom Church Bangladesh
Our History:
Freedom Church Bangladesh was founded to serve as a light in the northern regions of Bangladesh, especially in areas with minimal Christian presence. The church focuses on holistic ministry that combines evangelism, discipleship, leadership training, children’s ministry, women’s ministry, youth ministry, and church planting.
Our Story:
Started with a small group of believers, Freedom Church Bangladesh has grown into a network of churches, volunteers, and ministry programs impacting thousands of lives.
We regularly conduct discipleship training, sports ministry, prison ministry, and Bible distribution programs.
Every month, 25–30 people accept Jesus Christ, and many more are nurtured through fellowship and spiritual guidance.
We emphasize training local leaders to sustain and expand God’s work, focusing on multiplication of disciples and churches.
Mission Statement
“To glorify God by making disciples of all nations in Bangladesh, equipping believers to grow in Christ, and multiplying leaders to transform communities with the love and truth of Jesus.”
Based on Matthew 28:19-20: “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you.”
Location & Continent
Bangladesh is a country located in South Asia, sharing borders with India to the west, north, and east, Myanmar to the southeast, and the Bay of Bengal to the south.
Population & Religions
- Muslims: ~90%
- Hindus: ~9%
- Buddhists & Christians: ~1% combined, with Christians representing about 0.05% of the population.
Least-Reached Communities
Bangladesh is considered a least-reached nation, with most of its population having limited exposure to the gospel. Many people have never had the opportunity to hear about Jesus Christ personally.
Challenges & Persecution
Cultural and Religious Resistance: The strong Islamic and Hindu majority makes sharing the Gospel socially and culturally challenging.
Legal and Social Risks: Converts to Christianity, especially Muslims and Hindus, often face family rejection, social isolation, and in some areas, persecution.
Resource Limitations: Limited access to Christian literature, training, and discipleship resources makes church growth slow and challenging.
Doctrine of Freedom Church Bangladesh
1. The Word of God
We believe the Bible is the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God. It is the ultimate guide for faith, conduct, and ministry. (2 Timothy 3:16-17)
2. God
We believe in one God, eternally existing in three persons – Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. He is the Creator, Sustainer, and Ruler of all things. (Matthew 28:19; Deuteronomy 6:4)
3. Jesus Christ
We believe in Jesus Christ as the eternal Son of God, fully God and fully man. Through His death on the cross, burial, and resurrection, He provides salvation to all who believe. (John 3:16; Romans 10:9)
4. Salvation
Salvation is a free gift of God, received by grace through faith in Jesus Christ. It is not earned by works but transforms the believer into a new creation. (Ephesians 2:8-9; 2 Corinthians 5:17)
5. The Holy Spirit
We believe in the active presence of the Holy Spirit, who indwells believers, empowers them for service, guides in truth, and produces spiritual fruit. (Acts 1:8; Galatians 5:22-23)
6. The Church
The Church is the body of Christ on earth, called to worship God, make disciples, and serve humanity. We practice baptism and communion as ordinances commanded by Christ. (1 Corinthians 12:12-27; Matthew 28:19-20)
7. Discipleship and Leadership
We believe every believer is called to grow in faith, live righteously, and make disciples. The church equips leaders to serve, multiply disciples, and plant churches. (2 Timothy 2:2; Matthew 28:19)
8. Evangelism and Outreach
We are committed to reaching the unreached communities of Bangladesh with the Gospel, demonstrating God’s love through practical service, teaching, and ministry. (Romans 10:14-15; James 2:18)
9. Prayer and Worship
Prayer is the believer’s lifeline to God, and worship is our response to His holiness and love. We seek to glorify God in spirit and truth in all ministry and life. (John 4:24; Philippians 4:6-7)
10. Hope and Eternal Life
We believe in the resurrection of the dead, eternal judgment, and everlasting life for those in Christ. Believers are assured of eternal fellowship with God. (John 11:25-26; Revelation 21:1-4)
11. Holistic Ministry
We serve children, youth, women, and families through discipleship, education, social outreach, and sports ministry, seeking transformation in every area of life.

Showing the Jesus Film to Unreached Communities
At Freedom Church Bangladesh, we are committed to reaching the least-reached communities with the message of Jesus Christ. One of the most effective ways we do this is through the Jesus Film, a powerful tool that presents the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus in a simple and relatable way.
Our Approach
- Targeting Unreached Groups: We identify villages, neighborhoods, and communities where people have little or no exposure to the Gospel.
Community Engagement: Before the film, we spend time building relationships, sharing the love of Christ, and preparing the hearts of viewers.
Interactive Sessions: After the film, we hold discussions, answer questions, and guide people to understand the message of salvation.
Follow-up Discipleship: Those who accept Jesus are connected with local believers for ongoing discipleship, prayer, and growth in faith.
Impact
- Many people who have never heard the Gospel personally are encountering Jesus for the first time.
- Lives are being transformed as viewers respond to the message of hope, forgiveness, and eternal life.
- New believers are nurtured into mature disciples, and local fellowship groups are formed to continue spiritual growth.
